We are proud to be the home of “Boston’s Top Doctors” with a Boston Magazine award every year since 2006. All of our physicians hold academic appointments at Tufts University School of Medicine and actively teach in the New England Baptist Hospital Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. We train the young doctors of today to build and enhance quality care for future generations. Our wide range of experience sets us apart, but it is our dedication and passion for treating each patient with individualized care that defines us. We have very high standards and are extremely proud to offer life-enhancing care to give our patients the active and mobile lifestyle required for healthy living and healthy aging.

We provide state of the art care for multiple orthopedic conditions of the ankle, elbow, foot, hand, hip, knee, and shoulder, including workmen's compensation injuries.. Our multi-discipline approach offers a comprehensive program for healing and rehabilitation. Our orthopedist in Boston offers stem cell, platelet-rich plasma and ultrasound-guided injections in our office, eliminating any inconvenience to patients of having to go elsewhere. Stem cell injection therapy can play an important role in orthopedic regenerative medicine. Stem cells are harvested from either the patient, through bone marrow, or a young donor source. These injections are used to treat orthopedic sports injuries and degenerative conditions like osteoarthritis and rotator cuff disease. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections use concentrated platelets of a patient’s own blood to enhance the healing process. They are used to treat chronic degenerative conditions of bone, tendon and cartilage, and acute sports injuries. Ultrasound-guided injections use the ultrasound to accurately guide the needle directly to the affected area. This technique is used for cortisone, hyaluronic acid, stem cell, and PRP injections. We provide expert muscle and skeletal therapy from a licensed acupuncturist in our Waltham office. We specialize in Chinese massage therapy to treat post-op pain management, frozen shoulder, scar tissue mobilization, muscle strain, muscle imbalance, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and other nerve entrapment, plantar fasciitis, and back and neck pain. Needles, cupping therapy and cold laser therapy are used in treatment. Our high standards and innovative orthopedic services make BSSC the only place to come if you are looking for an orthopedist in Boston. We have three locations in the Boston area for your convenience. Give us a call today.
