Jason Rand is the Physician Assistant to Dr. Brian McKeon, diagnosing and treating a variety of orthopaedic injuries. He attended Cornell University where he completed multiple elective orthopaedic rotations and earned his degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Jason also earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University where he worked as a licensed Physical Therapist, rehabbing patients with sports-related injuries. His initial clinical training took place at New England Baptist Hospital in the sports medicine service.
Jason has extensive experience with steroid and viscosupplementation injections, having injected over 12,000 joints, and often lectures around the country on intra-articular injections and techniques. He also has an interest in biological injections, such as platelet-rich plasma, and is a preceptor for several PA programs both locally and nationally. Jason also participates in ongoing clinical trials, including studies sanctioned by the FDA.
